Dr. Alan Scharf earned his Biology degree Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the SUNY Buffalo School of Dentistry. He then completed his post-graduate residency at Baltimore City Hospital, now known as Johns Hopkins Hospital Bayview Medical Center, gaining extensive clinical experience that shaped his patient-focused approach to care.
After completing more than 500 hours of continuing education, Dr. Scharf met the rigorous requirements to become a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He went on to achieve board certification and Diplomate status from the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, representing the highest level of training and expertise in his field.
